MBFW – Sydney Roundup

Set against a sun drenched city, revelling in crisp autumn air and an iconic setting, the 2019 Sydney Mercedes Benz Fashion Week was a stunner! It opened with a collection that paid homage to the Australian landscape and the Aje show set the tone for an inspiring week of Australian Fashion.

The week that followed saw as much eye-catching fashion on the streets as there was on the runway. Bloggers, influencers and media personalities alike skipped from show to show, and showcased some bold and glamorous looks. The style  and vision on show by Yan Yan Chan, Carmen Grace Hamilton and Saasha Burns were hits among our team!

The Street Trends: Snakeskin, Strappy Sandals, Miniature Handbags and Coordinated Suits.

On the Runway, show highlights included Christopher Esber, Michael Lo Sordo, Bec & Bridge and Alice McCall – who was celebrating 15 years in fashion! Lots of neutral khaki tones, offset with an array of pastels from marshmallow pinks and lilac purple to cornflower blue and lemon yellow.  See more of our MBFW 2019 highlights below.
